Not sure who said this, but they must have been from the north somewhere. Laughing Laguna Madre, beautiful morning, upper 60's, moderate winds and a couple fat fish. One upper slot red and a chunky trout. Only two keepers in 3 hours and off the water before noon. The red was caught in the flats on a red and white sassy shad while the trout was caught in the intercoastal on a "Gulp Alive" Mantis Shrimp in Nuclear Chicken.

Winds from the East fishing the least, winds from the West fishing the best.
I first heard it from a commercial fisherman he also said don't believe everything you hear. Nice fat fish there. Very Happy

Nice fish! It's interesting to me how some trout have so few spots as if they lose them as they grow. Kinda like me losing hair from the top of my head.
