Woke up this mornin around 2:30am and I said to myself, hmmmmm we had a pretty nice lil cool front blow through around 9pm so why not?? Tide was outgoing and it looked like a nice lil 2hr window before the big NNE winds would come up too high. So I headed out to my HH in Aransas Pass and floundered for about 1 1/2 hrs until the North winds were whipping good enough to end my trip. I ended my trip with 3 nice FAT FLATTIES !!! I had a 5lb average and those 3 fatties filled up a gallon bags worth of fillets in NO TIME !!!! Adding up my stock pile, bc I have been doing fish frys about once a week and was starting to run a lil low. Gonna take the boat out here next week some time and go load up on more trout and reds, but for now Im gna stack up my flounder bc nothing and I MEAN NOTHING BEATS A FRESH STUFFED WHOLE FLOUNDER !!!!

You still have plenty of time left, we havent even got that REAL COLD SNAP YET.... so there will be alot more action to come for at least another good solid month till that water temp really starts dropping.

wish it were that easy...only time i have off is Christmas, then right back at it agin till the end of deer season.
