I love the kolaches S&J makes but they are too dang far away to pick up regularly (which might be a good thing)! Anyone have a sweet bread recipe that might approximate theirs so I can try making some at home?

Never had those kolaches, but I have had some that Gulftrout makes.

If you get lucky, he'll see your post, and send you his recipe. Can't say for sure, that it'll be better, but it'll be damn good.

I'm 1/2 Czech and have eaten genuine kolaches all my life. Here's a link to our family's recipe....
