Hiya!,

Hey Tyler or Skipper, yall still make fish stew still? I remember having some of that stuff at our gatherings back in the day. Curious to see a recipe for it. Mind sharing?

google redfish courtbouillion....
I kinda combined several recipies that came up (I just cant follow one thing verbatium)...
anyway it's good ... a red gumbo/poaching sauce ( I let it thicken )w/ redfish fillets.
ladeled over a bowl of rice...
be sure and add a little thyme, Loosiana hot sauce, file' powder and cajun seasonings...
we had ours w/ Ceasar salad and french garlic bread...
there was a couple of frosty mugs of crevesa, also... Very Happy

Hiya!,

Yeah, that's the one. That's some good stuff. It was funny that time at Yarbrough Pass, Gary was starting a pot and took the skin the sausage and threw it in the pot to brown. We gave him crap cause it looked like poop. Poop soup was born LOL!

First time I had fish stew was at Yarborough, y-u-m-m-y!... Carl brought me there in his red F150. Met lots of fine folks that nite. Fished PINS for a few years after that, even more when I got that Suburban 4x4. But alas, the Burb has degraded in recent years (born in 1988) and sits in my driveway with a few specks of sand carried from PINS during its last voyage there about 3 years ago.

Hiya!,

I remember that trip. How's Carl? Still talk to him. I ran into Brian (Surfmeister) about a year or so ago.
