I can't belive what I saw, the Rangers just don't have the desire or pitching staff, they'll be lucky to last one round in the play-offs.
Reminds me of the Astros...

Actually, the Rangers are in better position now that they lost the division. They have a 50/50 shot tomorrow and then start the series with the Yanks...two away games and then three at home. As a Ranger fan, I'd much rather face the Orioles and Yankees right now. There's NO WAY you can compare the Rangers to the DizAstros. You thought the Astros had a down season this year? Wait until they make their appearance in the AL West next year. Three of the four AL West teams had 89 or more wins. The Astros will have to win over 30 more games just to stay competitive...not gonna happen. It's not that they're without desire...they're without ANY MLB talent.

I like your positive attitude there Popye, I'm a Ranger fan,but a team that blows a 13 game lead since June 30th and looses their division by getting swept doesn't have the desire to win. Seems as though they peaked in mid-April. LOL.

I really don't think they get past the wildcard.....
Still reminds me of the Astros....they can't win the Big one either.

Dadgum, that was painful, but I can't help but think it might be true. I also think the pressure to win this year was A LOT heavier than they wanted to admit. They hid it well all year, but couldn't hide during crunch time. Strange, but the team that had the best AL record for a good part of the year and the top offense, never really looked that dominant. Maybe now they can play with abandon like the A's have been playing. Very Happy

Hey Bigrock, domination at the level of the Big Show is something that starts and ends with pitching. IMO they hit but not when they needed it most, their pitching has been suspect all season, and Mr Holland isn't a big league pitcher his cheezie mustach doesn't help Razz

Oh yea.....tooooooooooooo many errors. Embarassed

I'll still be a fan but there sure needs to be some changes made.
