Had a great experience with a local guide Tueday. My buddy and I went out with Captain Mike Singleterry. I have been on many guide trips where I caught more fish, but Capt. Mike worked his rear off for us on a very windy poor fishing day. He shared his knowledge with us about the area and was the consumate teacher. To me, hiring a guide is not only about how many fish you catch or how big they are. It is about treating people in a professional manner and answering quetions about tactics and how to read the water. I live 400 miles north of the Texas coast and only get to come down here two times a year. I dearly love this area and plan on retiring in a couple of years and spending several months of the year enjoying this beautiful area.
Thank you Capt. Mike for a very enjoyable day and I will surely be going out with you again.
