|
|
| Just purchased and old daiwa baitcaster and an 8ft sabre stroker rod, they both look to be in mint condition, the daiwa looks like a sealine but does not have a model # (not on anymore) the guy I bought from said reel was made in aprx. 1986/87, taking to reel repair shop for lube/ cleaning tommorrow. Is this a good setup for surf fishing? P.S. paid $50.00 |

Not to get off point here................ but you're the first person that I can recall in a while that actually spelled the word (Daiwa) correctly! Just as Tijuana is a three syllable word (Ti-juan-a) with no "a" after "Ti", similarly, it's Dai-wa, not Di-a-wa.
Not a life changer, but refreshing. _________________ Dave

Good rig and good call Dave on Daiwa. I am sure I've spelled it incorrectly at times too! Tijuana was a good example too _________________ Like Corpusfishing.com on Facebook! |

On the contrary; I was complementing and supporting
the original poster's semi unusual but correct spelling of the
brand of his gear!!!! _________________ Dave

Tijuana who cares about the spelling. Its the meaning that counts, Tijuana stands for..... mucho cervesas y mucho putas. Tiajuana a great place for young sailors getting out of boot camp in San Deigo. Great rod and reel combo dude. _________________ I LIKE MINE FRIED. |
