The news article states it will be 10.5 miles east of Packery. That would probably be federal waters. Wonder how the city is able to spend money on a project that is not in the city limits, much less the boundry of the state of Texas. _________________ E Pluribus Unum |

Says its in state waters... Maybe 10.5 miles due east of packery isn't more than 9 miles out of other shoreline. |

Sure it will!!!
This is good to see. I was at the very first SEA meeting many years ago and joined because they promised to do things such as this offshore. It never happened so I dropped out. I am glad they are making good on their promise. |

Well maybe.
9 nauti miles is something like 10.35 statute miles if memory serves me. |

Thanks for the information TH.
Great project.
I sure hate to see the City of Corpus Christi get involved in this, they'll
want to figure out a way to make money......like trying to charge everyone some type of user fee, maybe putting a charge on our Utility Bill
or having a "Reef Parking Permit".
LMAO

what i meant was since the coast curves.. if you go 10.5 miles east of packery, you might be able to go due north and hit texas coast in like 7 or 8 miles. |
