The first wave has arrived. I know it's not fishing related but it is pretty cool. Filling 4 feeders once a day right now it will soon triple that.

We have had one or two at the feeder the past couple of weeks. They came in thick yesterday.

NICE pictures.

I commented somewhere else that during last years fall migration, we went through 50 lbs of sugar at my house! Shocked Filling feeders daily, and then, sometimes twice a day. Cheap price for the cool entertainment.

@horse51 iPhone

Sorry IMS wasn't trying to out do. Just shot these, thought I'd add them in.

@Central Scrutinizer we are going through a pound of sugar a day, refill twice a day. Never had this many before. Very cool.

@horse51 J/K Camera & lens is damn expensive. I'm fortunate my wife likes pics & lets me try & figure out how to take a half way decent photo.

No no...please out do me. The pics are great! What a variety. I just have Black Chin and Ruby red throats. I hope a Rufus ventures my way or some other type.

Some time last year this little guy wandered into our shop. With our really high ceillings there was no way we could catch him. He flew around for about 4-5 hours before finally collapsing. We carefully picked him up took a quick picture and stuck his beak into some awaiting sugar water. It took him a few seconds but once he knew what it was his little tongue was going 100 mph. I took him outside, opened up my hand and he stayed there for a bit before taking off. Looked like he would be ok. Was a great feeling to see him fly away!
