Slow. Still haven't found an acceptable job yet. Either they want to underpay me by 50% when they finally get back to me, or they just drag on the interview process forever. I am still in 2nd, 3rd and 4th round interviews with a ton of companies. Seems they just move too slow, or pay too low. Heck, it will cost me about $800 month for good child care, plus other expenses (gas, dry cleaning, lunches, etc. ) I need $1500 month just to clear that hurdle, and taking home $500 to $1000 month after is just not gonna work. I need at least $45k a year to be even with all the bills and stuff. Looking for $60k to let the wife be stay at hom mom back in Corpus.
One very promising one is with Partsmaster as their distribution rep. down in Corpus Christi! That would be best. Another couple are pharma rep jobs in Corpus. The best one here looks like a job with USAA doing what I did before, but much better hours, benefits, etc, but I risk being sued for $40k to $50k by UBS for non-compete agreements. Same deal with Ed jones here too. I love to meet the lawyer that drafted the first non-compete agreement and kick him square in the ... wel you know what I mean.
Nope, still have not found my way to the sand yet. Can't afford the round trip at 15 mpg. Had offers to ride down with a few different folks from this board and some other guys, but can't go and leave the wife behind. She's the number one fishing partner and is fiending for sand and salt water as bad as I am.
Hopefully something will happen soon. I really need it to. _________________ GOBZA!!!

I would but all my fishing gear is stored in Corpus at the inlaws.
Oh well!
Anyway, hauling to Corpus is a family affair now, and takes alot of effort, packing and planning. When we were first up here goingto school, it was get home from classes, throw some shorts and shirts in the duffle bag, and go. Barely enough to fit behind the seat on the floorboard of my little Beretta. Now its creative packing, like playing Tetris, to get everything to fit in a big ole SUV! Wow has my life changed! _________________ GOBZA!!!
