Man...I got to get out there one of these days. Does it ever seem to get "too crowded"?

Congrats on the fish! And nice pics too.

My son and I will be out there in the morning. Just got to town and getting some sleep. Hope to be there by dawn.

I talked with Captain Mike Singleterry earlier and he agreed just west of the bridge on Packery was a good place right now for reds. Hope we will have some luck.

If you are out there and see a gray tundra and a dad/son pair where the 9yo is super excited anyone catches anything. though he prefers to be the one catching! Wink stop by and say hello. I'm doing my best to not be too clueless!

Looks to be a nice day!

Timing is everything.
Wanted to be there around sun up on thursday to take advantage of the outgoing tide but that didn't work out. Mad
Got there 2 pm (I know, I know... the wind), the place was CRAZY-PACKED!
We couldn't BUY a bite in four hours.
Plenty of people leaving by 5pm with limits of reds though. Evil or Very Mad

Went out to Packery just west of the bridge this morning.

Was crowded and somewhat "combat fishing". And fishing was slow. Brought in a few undersized reds and a cpl rock fish (I think).

North and South refers to the actual rock jetties themselves. West would be the other side of the bridge going towards the bay.
