I've been reading articles all summer and for myself and my friends the fishing has been slow this year compared to prior years. For me it was 2 summers ago when I was really tearing it up. Last year was slower and this year worse. I've hear red tide may have had an effect but I'd like to hear what y'all think.

Haven't noticed much change (except during the brown tide), summer was good for me with good boxes of quality trout. Then again, I have only been bay fishing for 2 years. Rolling Eyes

Agree, outside of brown tide the fishing has been good. I just had to learn some new areas out of the reach of the bloom.
