Went on a fishing trip on fiday took my bbq pit some shade and got to the bridge arond 10 30 am .Upon arriving one of my friend was calling it a day
he and another friend had caught a limit of reds and i took over his spot.
For the next four hours the bite was on,Reds black drum, trout and one flounder.Did fish the north jetty one day with a couple of blue fish being caught but nothing else was going on dispite the watert looking awsome.
Huge schools of reds were in the inside of the bridge but were finikey in the bait they ate. Blue and crome top water was used and live finger
mullet were working .On the other side of town my other friend chris
and buds were having a great time catching trout and some mangroves.
On the down town rocks. All in all had a great time making some new friends out there and seeing some young and some oider people that
have never caught a fish with some stout before ,And seeing a smile from ear to ear is priceless,Met another guy that read some of my reports from last year and decided to make a trip to corpus and give it a try and ended having a great day out there. Heres a few pics from the trip and the trout pics coming from the down town jetties. Cool

Great report and pictures man!
If I may ask, where are the downtown jetties?
I have not heard of them.

Down towm jetties start from where the old colesiem use to stand the food court still stands there,The problem, It was shut down is what i was told because of cracks on the walk way but if you got a yak or boat you can dock off the L head ,Get some live shrimp and a poping cork and just paddle a few yards around three quarters of the jetty right around the front side of joes crab shack .And fish the outer side of the bay insde you can tie your boat or yak on the sandy bottom.Just a short trip from the L head and your there.Fishing has been great all year round on that spot.
Cool
