Hit the jetty Saturday morning. Plenty of bait in the water. Caught alot of small fish. Manage to catch some bull reds, & boxed two smacks, one trout.
38" red

40" red

My wife's trout

This guy caught a 17" mutton snapper

My couple of smacks

Charlotte got the big one for the day 42" red

Sunday the fish turned on. Lot of bait in the surf & channel side.

We met the sunrise on the rocks.

Rose Mary with a red

Charlotte start off the trout bite

My wife hooked up with a 36-1/2" ling nice fight but had to let her go.

Ended up with 8 trout & 8 reds.

Monday condition still great. Charlotte was hot on the trout.

Got some reds & mangrove.

Ended the day with 9 trout, 5 reds, & 2 snapper.

It was so nice Scott I decided to stay the night.
The surf had cleared up and mullet were thick.

Saw a big manta ray I missed the body shot but he waved to the camera.

The bite had slowed down but Scott got a 46" red & 20" trout.

All in All it was a great trip. We've been doing it for twelve years now. Can't wait for next month heading back down for my B-day trip. Laughing Laughing Laughing

AWESOME REPORT!!!! Do you guys use spider weights over there because everytime I fish the North Jetty no matter how far I throw it out I always get stuck and I can chunk it pretty far. Wasnt sure how far the rocks went out.

No we use egg sinkers carolina rig with two foot leader. On the channel side well use eggs, or bank sinker drop rig & carolina rig. Also free line & chunk lures. The fish are near the rocks.
