Hey guys, Has anyone gigged packery lately ? I am planning a trip down 1st week of october and besides fishing for reds i thought i might try gigging some too.I havent gigged in years and i built a new wading light and a stainless gig and i can't wait to try them out.... Any reports are appreciated...

| I made a quick walk thru there tonight with your post in mind but didn't see anything. Water was very murky and churned up. I did get a nice one at my regular honey hole before that though so it wasnt a total waste. Good luck on your trip! |

Thanks DD, i really appreciate the report... Yeah we all have our favorite spots.. I gig in several spots just to increase my odds but i dont like to stay out too late anymore and that gives me a pretty good handicap at times...
Good fishing to you deputydawg......
