HOOKED UP and on my way to the launch in 30 minutes. it's 0500 and the winds are light and the coffee is great. Very Happy

May start out down by the yellow cabin this morning.

Backyard produced nicely yesterday. I took my brother in law out and hit the flats a little closer to home. We kept 10 trout and 1 flounder. We had blackened fish tacos last night and the ceviche is about ready. White plastics with chartreuse tail was the go to color and water looked nice. The bite was picked up for us around noon and lasted a couple of hours. I should have used more sunscreen.

Fishing started of good and the wind wasted no time either. All reds were between 26 and 27 inches trout were 16,17,18 inches. Plastics did the trick and there was good blowups on topwaters. All were caught in 2ft or less. Once a couple of boats blew through it was over but I DID NOT CARE BECAUSE IT WAS STEAMING HOT OUT THERE. Very Happy

However I will fish again in the am. Its getting close to fish fry time.......
