went over to bob hall earlier
took a shark rod and my little frenzy
didn't end up fishing, was scared i would cut someone in two if i did hook a big shark, but had some fun in the surf
i paddled to the T on bob hall and asked them if they wanted me to run a shark bait or two, no takers most just looked at me like i was crazy, and some were convinced i would run into there lines lol..
hung out in the breakers for over an hour, surfed a few waves, got one good one that took me 200yards(it was pretty rough, 2-5foot surf and strong winds and currents)

flipped twice the first time was a joke, second time i lost one of my pair of costa stringers (sigh), and broke my paddle leash..
if anyone finds my costas enjoy them or return them Smile
Till next time He who shall not be mentioned out... Cool

depends usually around 10 feet because its on a sand bar(i caught a 40pound black drum one day on the T when the water was 6feet deep) back in the gut 70yards from the T it may be around 15-20feet...

Those were the days. Our father would drop us off before he worked the grave yard at coastal states and pick us up in the morning. I think we were in our early teens..Cant do that no more either.... But man did we bring home the fish....miss those days so wish our kids could still do that......

I remember when it was 1200' long and triple T's. As a young kid it took a good 15 minutes for me and Pop to get our gear out to the end. The water was almost always clear. I think it was Beulah that lopped the end of it off. Those were the good old days.
