I got a second kayak recently while my big Malibu is waiting for repairs. I tried to sneak offshore for some fishing this morning before the swells build for the holidays, but it was already pretty itense when I arrived. My Scupper Pro is narrow, and the surf was coming from two directions at once. Shocked

No surprise that I flipped it in the surf, putting all my gear in the saltwater. It was head deep where I flipped, so it took a while to get things back together. I found all my gear except one small tackle box that had my Spanish Mack lures.

I already rebuilt my reels, and they're feeling good again, so no harm done. Very Happy
