WTF is coming off this barge heading out into the bay from the ICW? Sand?? Go to google earth and look for yourself. I see a couple mile long trail behind it. Maybe bauxite going to Reynolds plant?

Yep. just churning the bottom, that's the reason that the TP&W would like and asks tugs and barges not to run the ICW durning a freeze event. They turn the water over and puts the cold surface water deeper and churns the warm mud.
Nice picture and a good example of the effects barge traffic has on the water.

| i work at sherwin and u really dont have to worry about the ships coming in leaving a trail of baux. it the ships going out that u will see a lot of dirt flying off, we have a pretty messy unloading operation.... |
