| I know its been a topic before but I can't find it. I think there was somebody local that does reel cleaning and repairs. I think they were on Rodd Field but I could be wrong. Anybody have the number? I got a Shimano Stradic with a busted anti-reverse and I have taken it apart and can't find out whats the problem, everything looks kosher. Also have some pens that need servicing. |

This guy is in Annaville and does good work on reels and rods. John Chaney 361 241-5126. 1854 Tuloso Rd.
It is better to go to his shop, on the side of his house, than to call him on the phone. He uses a voice box and difficult to understand on the phone. He is a great guy and also builds some nice custom rods to your specifications.

| John Chaney is the reel repairman. Sometimes he might not be to fast, most of the time it will be the next day if ordering parts are not required. So if next day service is not what you want, just wait an extra day to pick it up. Excellent work, super reasonable and just a great guy! Go ahead and check him out, you will be happy with his service".............cC |
