We had the whole family down for a weekend of fun in Baffin Bay. Weather was excellent the moon was right and it all came together for three days of steady catching. Under the lights we had lots and lots of trout with a fair amount of slot size. Several in the 20-inch range with the biggest going 23-inches. Day time was again excellent just about everywhere we tried with the best bite coming a few hours before sundown. Lots of redfish, trout, flounder and drum up on the east shoreline sand. Water was more off color up north of Baffin than it was in the Bad-Lands. Drum were everywhere. We also found lots of sight casting opportunities for drum and redfish tailing in less than a foot of water. Saw a few really big trout up in real skinny water but they took nothing we had to offer. 3-inch white gulps on a 1/8oz jig-head were the go to lure. second was the electric chicken and the Paul Brown devil eye in glow green and motor oil. Tipped with a white crab flavor Fish-Bite and the drum were game.

dang nice haul charlie. I love that place down there. This is Casey Caraway by the way, me and my dad Keith have the other floater in the meadows with the green light. We get down there every now and then with John. Hoping to get down there this weekend to do some work to our cabin and tear some fish up at night under the lights.

Sounds like fun and good times ,I had some success with the white gulp grub with the culy tail on some trout and flounder been hearing about
