I'll be in Corpus (near Bob Hall Pier) from July 4-7. I'm fairly new to surf fishing and wouldn't know what to do if I caught a 20 ft shark (just kidding) ... but I'm trying to learn and want to hire a surf fishing guide to show me the basics. Any recommendations?

You really don't need a guide. You can find all the info you need on this site and on the internet in general if you're willing to search and read a little. Go to the search feature at top of page and type "surf". You should get plenty of reports and other things. Then if you need to, ask specific questions. _________________ Fortune favors the brave... |

The Guru of surf fishing retired recently but you can pick up some pointers @ Breakaway. _________________ "If we don't leave any, there won't be any."

You can also just go out to Bob Hall and talk to people. Most are friendly and will give good advice. You can spot the old salts by how elaborate and/or rusty their pier carts are. _________________
