Hi everyone... I'm trying to find out a little more information about B&R Flats. I usually use the kayak in some other areas around Aransas Pass but with the expected wind and this being my gf's first fishing trip I think we may be stuck to the piers and wading if I can find any good spots. When trying to access B&R Flats do you advise using a 4x4 when trying to get back to that area or will a 2WD truck be ok? Also, are there any specific land marks that I can use to find the road that leads to it? Any help or other ideas would be great. Like I said, I do have kayaks but with the wind it might not be the best idea for me and the gf to get out there so any other tips on wading areas would be greatly appreciated. I have also looked at the wading and kayaking link on the website so if those are the only areas then I will look into them. Thanks in advance for all your help.

B&R one of my favs...Dont know when you plan on hitting it, but tommorow looks wind forecast looks great...Can't comment on the 4X4 requirements, I normally launch right off 361, cross the channel and start lookin...Have fun, be safe...G

Launch anywhere from 361. If the prevailing wind picks up it should blow you back to where you parked
