Redfish, drum, speckled trout, flounder, croaker, sheepshead and most other finfish do not retain the toxin in harmful levels, according to Wolny, who consulted with a Florida toxicologist familiar with the organism.

That's a bit of good news.

The only toxic form of that genus has been found in Australia. The Pyrodinium we have here (and believe me, it's everywhere) has never been shown to produce toxins.

I went out to mud bridge on sunday, trout and reds usually start hittin when i throw the first croaker out, but there was alot of brown
stuff on the shore.... im guessing thats brown tide,, Crying or Very sad my friends and i just played football instead in the sand full of glass. lol
