With diesel for the truck and gas for the boat high for so long we have been fishing the lakes more lately[Thankful to Braunig and Calaveras for their Redfish] but its time to feed the addiction again.
Will be down from the 18th through the 26th to try and cure this.
Have not seen many reports from the Port A jettys which I am sure is because of weed and water clarity but any info would be nice to hear since I have to live off reading reports from you guys for the next week.
See ya next week |

| The water was very nice in the channel over the weekend. My buddy who i consider a VERY good rock hopper said it was slow both days despite the water being clean. Last weekend they had double limits on trout by 10a. This weekend only 1 trout for the effort. Surf looked good |

| I have always done better when the water is a little off color especially for Reds. A clear flat surf around the rocks has always been pretty rough. |
