Zachary said that being seven years old is old enough to wade fish so off we went today. Didn't get on the water till 11:30. Dolphins were everywhere in my spot and my son thought that seeing them while being in the water was so cool. Started catching after about 20 minutes and left them bitting at 2:30. I was using my normal shrimptail, son was using gulp under cajun thunder. He wanted to learn netting and landing trout with your hands and that was an adventure. Not sure how many "we" lost at the net but it is a memory I will never forget. Had one around 28" jump over him 3 times, then she got off. What was cute was he told his mom, also my wife of 27 years that it was my fault. She said "oh no, not another fisherman in the house". Still fishing the bay.
Zachary thinking "I know my Uncle D will help me clean these".
Sorry fish. Another no go on Uncle D. Have to clean you myself.

| What a great moment and a memory for you both. You should help him start a log of his fishing adventures. Maybe you could keep it yourself and give it to him one day. |

Great job Zachary!!! Isn't it wade fishermans law to make the 1st successful wade trip drink fish blood? Keep up the good work!!! _________________ Slicker than a harpooned hippo on a banana tree...... |

Using a 7 year old is against federal regulations to feed a family. Before
Obama finds out I can hide the evidence in my tummy. Hurry I have the munchies. |
