went to the pier with a buddy and his son who moved to CC recently, been trying to get him on a king...
set up a slide in the gut and put a piggy perch out, i cast net some mullet in the surf after a while so my friend could fish cut bait
you can see my slide to the right
water color sucked and wasn't much better than sunday
still tons of sand trout, whiting, and small sharks were caught
my friends son got his first pier fish...and my buddy lost a little blacktip shark(3foot) on 10pound cajun line (the red stuff) i told him it doesn't hold knots well....anyway...
i have seen a tarpon the last three times i have gone out there
my friend kept a whiting two sand trout and the gafftop that him and his son caught..should be some interesting eats for his family

got my fishbag(and a nicer PDF(MTI calcutta)) seems to fit perfectly, and it has allot of space

kinda depends crazy things can happen in the middle of the night if you have the right rods/baits out(sharbaits can get picked up big time at night...)
had a friend hook a tarpon every night for 3 weeks out there under the lights when we had the red tide
i have seen the kings hit after dark for over an hour before..
most other fish can be landed day or night
