Well all the boats have gone and now we can catch fish in the ULM again.
Not going to use the word "epic" it seems to be a little overused but here is a nice limit of trout caught by my client this morning. I'm still fishing the shallows over grass using live croaker. The water conditions are not the best but there are still some nice trout to be caught out there.
I haven't posted a picture of dead fish hanging on a board in a while so here ya go Very Happy
Some nice trout caught by Ed.

I am starting to think the normal pattern is back on. I hit a couple spots that 2 weeks ago had nothing (which for this time of year they are usually good) and this trip they were on. I just couldn't tell whether the off color was wind or B tide related but it wasn't ideal. Nonetheless they had fish this time.

The water seems to be trying to get better, there is a real big difference between the color brown it was last week and the color it was yesterday, there is a little green in it.
I really haven't stopped fishing my old patterns just have to work a little harder, there hasn't been a real good bite on one anchor, catch a few then have to move and catch a few more......
We really need a strong TD to clean the Laguna up. That water from the GOM is magic Very Happy and can cure everything. Including a bad case of not catching fish.

Thanks for the report Capt. I know you've said you had your clients on croaker, but have you had any luck yourself catching trout using plastics? I'm going out Friday and debating on whether spend my time looking to sight cast redfish (supposed to pretty calm) or trying for trout in this muck. After seeing the IMS and TD report, I wonder if I'd just be spinning my wheels.

I'd go the sightcasting route if it were me.
