I just re-upped and got Kelle on there again and both of us are signed up for the Star Tournament. After two Academy mailings each with 10 dollar gift certificates that makes our net cost only 40 dollars total!

$25 for my membership plus $20 for Star= $45

$15 for my wife's associate membership plus $20 for Star = $35

Total = $80
Minus $20 -2 ten dollar off Academy coupons mailed earlier this month

Minus $20 - 2 more ten dollar off Academy coupons mailed later this summer.

Net = $40

I signed up in April just got my stuff. Not complaining but my stuff was sent to another address. I didn't get my Academy gift card either. Never had a problem with the cca in the past. I just fell through the crack this time. Make sure they have your correct address. I joined early for the earlybird goodies. I guess thats in the wind too. No I'm not mad just a lttle disapointed. I should go have a beer with the commercial fishermen that will make me feel better. Very Happy

I think it is worth it to join tournaments like this one. Even if you don't catch "the big one" lots of the money goes to good causes. Very Happy

And if you do win, the prizes look great!
