I have yet to see one say the fishing is slow, it seems like fishing is always super duper mega excellent if you're a guide. Rolling Eyes

I know, but it sure makes the report a waste of time and space, just another way for them to advertise, I guess.

I got the best advice ever from one of those articles. I'll be super nice and share it. "The snapper are suspended between the top and the bottom". Stupid me, I had always been fishing for snapper above the water level before that. Rolling Eyes

im sure we all "know a couple guides" so i wont talk it up but guides make a living out of fishing so they know when and where the fish are "for the most part" in most situations. i do know many times that they tell me that fishing is tough but they still manage to find the fish for the customers. im not saying that you can find limits no matter what but you sure wont get skunked if you learn the way fish act.

I don't know who he was, but last year, the guide that came right up to me while I was in my kayak and decided to lecture me about how 'this was his spot' and how 'he had to make a living', right before he burned the entire shoreline I was fishing.

I would like nothing more in this life than to come face to face with him in a men's bathroom with no one else around so I could stuff him in a urinal and leave him there for the janitor to find.

Then again...someone might accuse me of leaving a urinal deuce.
