So as Im driving old Lola decides to take a dump on me. First signs were super bad throttle response. Next thing I know im at work with a dead battery. I jump it and put the volt meter up to the alternator and its 10.4 volts and dropping. Bad alternator right? Wrong. Took it to two different places and they both said it was good. Battery was cranking out 10 volts as well but autozone said its good too. Well I get a new alternator anyways, hook it up, and its putting out 9 volts and dropping................................... my volt meter on my dash does not move at all either.. Any tips and ideas would really help out a bunch.

Get your voltmeter and make sure you have 12v at your B+ lead.
There is a fuse link that feeds your alternator 12volts, check it!

The throttle response can be a number of things could be as simple as cheap gas or a bad injector or one of ur sensors the battery ur alternator isn't charging honestly I don't trust AutoZone it could also be a bad ground or rusty ground that's happen to me on my old stang
