I know the locals will have great insight on this. So the wife asked what I would like for fathers day, which I replied " what any man with a saltwater addiction wants, a custom surf rod". I'm hoping to stay within the 2-300$ hundred mark, but I would like y'alls opinion on what kind to get (breakaway, jawbone, ex). Needs to be around 10ft or so. Also need to have a certain logo/sticker permanently placed on it. Any advice would be appreciated. Tight lines!!

I recently had a friend wrap a custom Breakaway Omega 10'6", its a really sweet action and it falls right into your price range straight from the Breakaway shop...

Great, do you know the average time it takes to construct? I'm not that handy, so will they make one to your specs ( wrapping, logo,ie)?

If you're willing to go a little bit shorter i'd highly recommend the breakaway tugmaster. It's long enough (8'6") to soak baits in the surf and can cast 4oz no problem. You can also put a low pro baitcaster on it and chunk lures since it's so light. I had Nick whip me up a couple and I use them for everything. His rods can take anywhere up to a couple weeks to make depending on if the blank is in stock and you have the choice of wrapping/putting your name on it. Might be able to do more, but I haven't asked. Below is the most recent one I had made.
