My buddy called and told me they had a ton of hogs and they needed to kill a few. After my son got out of school and I shut down at work we headed to Swinney Switch. Sure enough there were hogs all over and a ton of turkeys. We ended up killing three hogs and my son popped this tom in the head at 75 yds. with my buddies 22. Luckily there's still plenty of room in the deep freeze.

Sweet! That's a good bird.
When you learn to talk to them and start playing with decoys, it gets addictive. I try to get them with my bow every year, but the toms I have this year are staying a step ahead of me. I need to get out my shotgun and claim one. |
