Hey guys,
If anyone is fishing the surf this week and happens to catch hardheads they would like to donate to science, please let me know. The fish can be frozen until I can meet up to get it. We are also looking for some whiting and mullet from the surf.

Wish I'd seen this yesterday. Mary and I spent the day on the surf. Caught 20 whiting and a lone hardhead.

Funny. I used to catch much more, but they seem to be more scarce this winter

Do you still want whiting and/or hardheads? I may be on the beach tomorrow afternoon. If I get any of either one how many do you need? 5 or 10?

I was on the beach the night before you posted this and a big school of about 100 or so hardheads was swimming on the edge of the water. They were getting in my light. My wife thought the eyes in the light were real creepy. Could have got a bunch with a cast net.

The hardhead fishing was very slow today. Looked like prime conditions, torn up surf and chocolate colored water. Only got 2 hardheads. I do have 12 to 14 whiting still that I have not cleaned. I got tired after the other whiting, sheepshead and pomps.

Do you still need hardheads? We saved three for your caught at the 5 yesterday. Smile

We did keep 14 nice whiting and three pomps however. Very Happy
