I had 3 guys from the Gatesville area today, who braved the weather and took home a nice box of fish. We waited the rain showers out before leaving this morning, and just as we started the first drift we got the wind shift to the cold front that was coming in. The morning started out slow, with a nice 25'' + red and a nice trout, but as the wind picked up from calm to 45 the bite shut down for us. Finally we found some good spots and filled up the box. Thanks guys for a great day on the water and hope you have a safe trip back home.

What a day! I fished a good friend and her boyfriend from Louisiana today, the morning was thick fog and we had to wait it out until 9 am. First 2 stops nothing, but next stop we boxed 8 nice trout to 20'' in 10 minutes. It was wild and crazy, but fun, but the bite slowed and we moved a couple more times before we limited out on big sheephead, but never did get the 20th trout, but we had one heck of a day.
Enjoy the sheephead on the grill and look forward to having you back again soon.
