Brent Dworaczyk aged 31 passed away today from tongue cancer. Larry Flakman Flak was like a father to him. He and Larry bought a boat together just before Larry was killed in that boat accident in 2009.

I cannot express how much everyone's love and support means to me. Brent passed peacefully at 8am this morning and knew how much he was loved. His memorial service will be at the First United Methodist Church on Shoreline Drive in Corpus Christi, Texas at 1:30pm on Saturday. Brent's wishes included the establishment of a nursing scholarship, as he always felt that the awesome nurses that cared for him made all the difference. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to make a tax-deductible donation in his honor as we establish the Brent Dworaczyk Perpetual Nursing Scholarship at Texas A&M Health Science Center. Checks may be mailed to: TAMHSC Foundation Attn: Shirley Ellison 8447 State Highway 47 Bryan, TX 77807. Please make sure to include Brent's name on your donation.
