Finally got around to getting on the water for a few hours before dark, started off slow with nadda at my first two spots.

I kept paddling, dropped anchor over some good looking deep flats. I fished a gulp new penny shrimp on a 2/0 owner hook, got discouraged and was pulling anchor when i got a serious bite, didn't hook it. few casts later i hook this 22 inch trout, after a nice battle he was in the net Smile

hope my pics of him on the tape are good enough for the 20 points in kayak wars...still learning in the yak, at least i had my net this time Smile

pulled anchored and started my drift home after releasing that big trout managed to hook about 10 undersized trout on a glow DOA shrimp

caught two 17inchers at a spot i have been doing good lately at on the way home my DOA was dead by now so i paddled on home,
All fish were released Cool

Nice job! Glad to see that blue Pelican is working out for you, and I can't wait for the opportunity to fish with you again soon!

Way to go SB! First points for the Dinks. I went out with the wife on Sunday in the canoe, hit up pita, and didn't catch much. I didn't know that fishing on Sunday with her would be my fishing trip for the weekend. I wanted to go out on Monday since I was off but tilling the garden seemed to be priority numero uno on the honey-do list. Nice work Smile
