Had a good day on the water today. Launched at Packery Channel and went out to check out the Jetties. The sheepshead were running strong. We brought home 9 (ran out of bait) before calling it a day. Plus picked up a bonus Pompano. Almost everyone out there either in a boat or on the rocks was catching them left and right.

We anchored up within casting of the rocks at the end of the south jetty. Used light Tackle (12lb) with a single hook steel leader with the smallest sliding egg sinker I could find we were throwing dead shrinp towards the rocks and retrieving very slowly. We also were using bent shank hooks. not the complete circles like a snapper hook. Everyone was catching yesterday. The run was on for sure.
