I've tried both for the fun of it and I don't see it as being an advantage. It still takes the same skill to line the putt up and read the green. The mechanics are only slightly different in my opinion. But Tiger did mess up royally. Nice poll!

If Tiger is such a traditionalist, maybe he should use a golf ball made of feathers and hit it with a persimmon driver with a metal shaft.

I think Tiger could have used a belly putter yesterday though Phil looked remarkably comfortable using his traditional stick.
