Hey AT, I saw that here in Corpus (Greenwood) yesterday, funny thing, they had all the berkley gear on the red tag closeout rack, maybe they're upgrading...

Rarely go to Wallmart with Academy so close.
Another alternative can't be bad.

Red tags mean I may need to go check it out. Would be nice to have some upgraded merchandise. Also, Academy had some lures on clearance for .01, but of course they were all gone. I'm sure the employees in the fishing/hunting department stashed those things away Crying or Very sad

I try to avoid the Bluff Walmart (liked the old one better) but next time I go by that way I'll check out what they have. Needing a new castnet for the surf very soon.

I will check it out today as I'm taking the weekend off from fishing to get my yard ready for spring. I also have to do the yard next weekend as the renters are moving out to the island.

In Aransas they had some Falcon coastal rods and some new one I never heard of. Both felt pretty good. Had a few castaway rods too. Nice to see something besides ugly sticks. Now if they would just upgrade the reels, I wouldn't have to drive to Corpus.
