My post's about live shrimp were removed because I mentioned Marker 37!! Thats a bunch of crap!!

Lagunatick, folks are welcome to mention Marker 37 but advertising a business where you work without paying is spamming even if the information you were giving is good like the fact you have shrimp the fishing reports, and the black drum tournament. I have to pay hundreds of dollars per year to host the site so I have to have advertisers and when some other competing business starts posting about their specials for free as you were doing I can lose the paid sponsor. It is that simple Cool

Simple?? o.k. So next time Pita Island is hot or on fire...Does the GLO owe you $500 to mention that name?? I understand.. like you mentioned about Cos way in our PM.. He paid you..so you have to have his back!!! I totally undertsand. It's not like I put up a banner...or a link to our website... I mentioned it in a post....Its about CONTROL!!!

Actually, it is not about control; it's economics. If you want advertising for your place of business on this website, then pay for it like other businesses do. Frankly, your attitude leads me to believe that your place of business is one that I would prefer not to utilize.

Actually I am very upset, Marker 37 has been put down on this Web-site because of previous owners/management. The second something good is mentioned about the place it was struck down!! So Excuse me if i sound a little frustrated... The problem with the old 37 is(after Ernie Butler)... is nobody cared about the business..Exscuse me for tryin to help them out!So if i am not allowed to say anything positive about Marker 37, then all the negative things should'nt be posted either!! As for the 500$ advertisement fee, I understand everyone has their hand out when "new " money is in the business.

..."word of mouth" is the best advertisement in this business, not an internet forum. So when folks drive over the JFK and see all the improvements happening at business(no name),we will have ALOT of business. So i will just sit back and let the folks come on in....Like in Field of Dream's, " If you build it, they will come!!" ... I don't recall having to pay to use this site...or is that coming in the future??

The reason WHY you and I don't have to pay is because of sponsors stepping up to the plate. And because of them, this great resource will continue to be free going forward. So thank you to Cos-way, Blue Streak Fabrication, Wind and Wave, Roys, Ron Hoover and all of the other sponsors that help keep the lights on.
