My 8 year old son finally decided he was going to shoot a deer this year. 3 missed bucks earlier in the season and he was very frustrated. i bought some Remington Managed Recoil bullets for my .270 for him to shoot because he seemed to be jerking his .223 off target every time. after a few practice rounds he was excited to head out to the blind. he said the .270 kicked less than his .223. well , this doe came into the feeder and the game was on. i filmed the entire thing on my Kodak Playsport that i just bought. If you listen close you can hear my boy breathing just before he shot. it was an awesome time for the both of us and it was great to get on film. I Hope this works cause i have never posted a video. Enjoy!!

The video doesn't work, but...
Great story and congrats to your boy...and you too. 
I got to watch my then 10 yr old take his first three deer last year and this year I got to watch my 25 year old son-in-law take his first deer. It was a tie as to which of them was the most excited. |
