You may want look into master trainer. That's what about all I've found. I am in the same boat as you. Let me know what you come across. I am looking for a trainer as well. Wonder if there is anybody else in the area that trains.

Get the dog training book "Gun Dog". It is really pretty simple and a lot of fun. Reward when the do good and proper discpline when they dont. If they will sit, stay and heel every time getting them fetch to hand is easy.

Keeping your kids and you from playing "keep away" with the pup is important too.

Unless you want to spend some serious coin, train your dog yourself. Its a lot of work but well worth it in the end. I trained Dutch myself and she is a great duck/dove dog. Buy a starter training kit or put your own together and get "Gun Dog" or one of the similar books and get after it. Everyone will have differing opinions as to what the best way to train your dog is but just try different things until you find what works for your dog. I took Dutch hunting the day after I got her (6 weeks old). I wanted to get her used to riding in the boat, gun shots, and the environment. Several told me she was to young and yada yada, but by the end of the first duck season she retrieved her first duck at 4 months old. Of course I was putting in about 30min/day of working with and training her up until that point. By their nature, Labs want to please their masters so as long as you put the time in and praise them when they do right they will continue to try to please their masters.

i have been trying to train her myself and im pretty sure its working. basic stuff so far...sit, stay, come. she has those down and she is working on watching the ball and waiting to fetch it until i tell her to. i took her to the backside of the island the other day and first throw into the water, she took off like a bullet....those shrubs didnt stand a chance. it was awesome to see her doing what comes naturally. she is going to be great. thanks for the advise guys
