went fishing with my daughter we went a little into the Laguna Madre but wasn't having much luck we had a keeper red on but we lost him(i was trying to get a picture) we hooked him drifting live mullet. We pulled up on a little beach in the first canal on the way back and fished some live and cut mullet after a littler bit off chumming i had a hard head feeding frenzy going on. most poeples nightmare but really not to bad when your just trying to get a bend in the rod for the kiddo she caught over 15 and then we called it a day since we couldn't find a trout or ladyfish those are her favorite to fight
25+ mullet in one cast
this osprey watched us for a while
this guy showed back up to check us out he seemed unhappy that we were catch and releasing

| Always fun. I lost a 20-25 trout in the backyard yesterday off a top water. He was layin next to the boat. Guess what I was doing?? Goin for the camera as well!!!! All I could do was wave!! |

My good friend Paul lives on that canal. Wish they would open that ramp back up down at the end.
