Sadly, hardly anything good comes from most revolutions, except the one that founded America in 1776.

Hopefully all the protesters will unify, if they are able to restore america it will be a great victory but the recovery will be difficult because we basically do not have a manufacturing base anymore.

They just begun the 2nd round of bailouts for the Euro banks, you can't drink yourself sober. I still see the Euro collapsing first, then the dollar collapsing right after it. But, the elite usually back off when the people rise up, it will be interesting to watch no matter what happens...

If you can't afford Gold or Silver, I'd be buying stainless steel hooks and power pro Smile

If so...you're going to be disappointed. They are hardly revolutionaries, and even if they were, they don't have the sack to do what they think needs to be done.

How can the president of a major nation and society, the one with the most successful economic system in world history, stand and talk about business when he's never worked for one? Or about jobs when he has never really had one? And when it's the same for 92% of his senior staff and closest advisers? They've spent most of their time in academia, government and/or non-profit jobs or as "community organizers." They should have been in an employment line.

Yeah, surely is disappointing..

Looks like the communist are hijacking it, and it is even possible they were responsible for starting it. The world wide protest that have been happening this year has not accomplished anything.

Been avoiding this subject but the best thing they can probably do to divert everyones attention away from all the economic mess is a WAR.

I used to believe in the better judgement of the the American voter to a certain degree. Not anymore!!!! Most people seem to just believe what they see on their chosen news channel, and 90% of that is left wing BS "It's all BUSH'S fault", etc!!!! I'm no Bush lover, but It only takes 30 seconds to a minute or so to do a search and cut through the crap and find facts IF that's what you're looking for!!!!

This was in June, and she also said that the President owns this economy at another point. We haven't heard the same stuff from her since, so it's mighty apparent that she was told to "CAN IT" by her superiors, and it takes little imagination to figure out who that may be!! Still, they do nothing but attempt character assassination of ANYONE who disagrees with their plans or "fixes" for the simple reason that they're running as fast as they can AWAY from their collective record, the typical left wing strategy when faced with the truth!!!! Then, in Oakland, he was struck in the head by something that the Police likely fired at him, fracturing his scull . When people tried to help him, they were shot with rubber bullets and flash bang grenades."

sadly i had a friend at this event (he carried this wounded former MARINE to safety he suffered a fractured skull )and no violence of any kind was shown to police

I like the 53% movement better. Its the 53% of us who pay taxers to support the 47% of those out there who don't.

The OWS group is hardly the 99% they claim to be, but rather are the 1% that wouldn't be hired even if unemployment was back down to 4% anyway. Many of them have been arrested for drug dealing, drug use in public, theft (they are getting their I-phones and I-Pads stolen), assault, battery and rape during this time frame.

as i said i had a friend there in that first video no violence was shown to police, until that video happened then some people begin to throw the tear gas back...and tear gas can definitely be lethal

I think I will hold my tongue on Scott Olsen except to say he was kicked out of the Marines and ran a website talking about how much he HATED the Marines. I've watched the Scot Olsen videos, it's my conclusion that the jackass got his bell rung by one of the rock throwers BEHIND him.

As for the rest, you really need education.

Police don't use rubber bullets. We never did. We use either paintball guns with pepper balls or shotguns with beanbag rounds. That thing you call a "flash bang" isn't. It's a hand thrown gas grenade about the size of a can of Red Bull. A flash bang that close would have put all those $$$holios face down on the asphalt.

As for the non-violence, the protestors THEMSELVES are on video stating about how they threw rocks and bottles at the Oakland PD before the gas came out. Your "Friend" is less than truthful. The protestors OWN VIDEOS show it.

Last thing. if tear gas is lethal I'm the amazing survivor of multiple exposures. The Army called it "Training."

(Just as an aside, very few people use tear gas anymore. Pepper spray is MUCH more effective and easier to clean up afterwards. )

As I said, use the internet for something beside porn.
