I thought I'd hammer out a quick message & introduce myself.
My name is Richard & as mentioned in the title of this thread I am currently a Hoosier, however 27 days from now will be moving down to Corpus Christi & as an avid fresh-water fisherman I thought this message forum would be a great resource to find some new fishing buddies in/around the Corpus Christi area & maybe pick up some advice, tips & tricks on the in's & outs of salt-water fishing.
I am looking forward to hopefully meeting & casting a few lines with all of you in the near future. |

I too am an avid freshwater fisherman...because I live 400 miles from the coast. I loved my years in Corpus Christi and wish you the same.
Welcome! |

Thanks for the welcomes Tyler & Bigrock!
Although I am a Hoosier, I was stationed in San Antonio (Lackland AFB) back in the late 80's & absolutely fell in love with Corpus Christi, so I've been day-dreaming of moving back to the area for almost 25 years now, I am very excited about finally being able to make it happen.
I promise to do my best to limit the number of dumb questions that I ask to the absolute bare minimum, but I really don't know jack about salt-water fishing, I am however very eager to learn all that I can. |

Oh hey btw are there any fishing boat Captains in Corpus who are interested in hiring on an extra deck-hand?
I don't care if you have me filleting fish half the day, so long as I am also learning all of the in's & out's of salt-water fishing the other half of the day. |
