Not much of a report no pictures but i hit 17 drum and a red at my night spot

Got to the water a bit late but we were night fishing so no matter

heart broken from the start when i found people fishing my spot...still cant believe it =(

i go say hi they already had reds and drum and just pulled in a nice trout....

we fished around the island nothing at first spot

second spot gave me several drum pretty quick but slowed.


i got reaaaallllllyyyy tired of hearing the potlickers drag going off so we said screw it and paddled to a shoreline i know


raul starts complaining that he hasnt hit nothing yet and BAM! fish on...was a nice bull red took more then half his spool out







i caught a few more drum and we paddled back out a little more shallow

hit my limit and we called it a night



and thats right my spirit animal broke my team oso curse!!



now it just needs to get me that big bully of a bull again =)

this morning started out weird..

the night before i noticed a LOT of trout activity wayyy more then ive ever seen in the area lots of slicks and pops and LOTs of mullet which means two things

1 trout are present

2 bulls are pressing there way into my area

on the way out there a black cloud was going against the wind towards me..it looked like a hand creepy



winds from the northwest and not very calm it totally threw my morning red spot for a loop and only 2 were seen and my bad casts didnt help

so i drifted around but cloud cover and recent winds mucked up visibility back to the usual dirty baffin ..

called it a day and started to paddle back to catch up with the also defeated osofly

all of a sudden some hovering birds showed up next to me i watched em for a bit and they made one or 2 dives ...

i threw in nada..threw again nada...threw again thought i hooked a post nada....the next 2 casts got me a dink trout...the next 13 casts got me keeper trout from 16.5 to 20.5 i was shocked and freaking out...



i never hit schooling trout like this ever so that made my day right there to hit a limit 13 in a row in about 10 minutes....the bite was gone as soon as it started and i never found em again...but like i said the trout have pushed into my area....dont know if any bigguns are around though

Found it one day on the flats i rolled off 7 reds after that...havent been skunked on a lures only day yet...its my spirit animal
