Is there any difference between the SeaGuar Red Label Fluoro that is available on Ebay and the regular blue labeled SeaGuar Fluoro leader material. What would be the best test for saltwater leaders (40,50,60). I have some 14 and 30, but am looking for the next heavier up.

i use 15-30 pound fluorocarbon in the bay and i use 50 or sixty for cobia snapper and jacks/small tarpon

Don't have an answer to your question, but in the for what its worth department, I gave up all the technical bs a few years ago and started buying all of my flouro based on how good the design of the spool is at preventing the line from coming all unspooled and making a mess. It's been all sunshine, butterflies, and lollypops ever since.

seaguar 20lb tied directly to 30lb powerpro with an improved albright knot on a shimano 4000 and medium heavy 8' spinning rod will be the ultimate rig for limiting out on trout, catching whiting and even for hauling in huge jacks.

I am just about perfect then!!! I have the rod, the reel, and the line. I just about have the Leader. How lucky can I get??
