Has anyone tried a green light off of the jetties, packery, fish pass, port a? If so how did you do?

Next time in Corpus, I plan to use my green lights in the turning basin/lake/??? close to the bridge at the road end of Packery. All of the fish coming and going have to go through this area. It's protected and could make for some really good fishing. Its also where I plan to intercept both Croaker and Flounder this fall.
