I am currently looking for some teak to build a speargun. After doing some trolling, i have found a few builds where guys stripped some teak off of old boats. Since this will be my first build I would rather screw up and learn on some older inexpensive (or free) wood.
I figure someone on here must know of an old scrapped boat sitting around that has a wooden swim platform.

| There are about 4 old boats sitting behind the stripes off flour bluff and spid, use to be an old boat store there but it closed down. I think two of them have wood platforms! |

I went by there today, all I could find was the shell of a fiberglass sailboat just off the dirt road back there.
Is there a "Boat Junkyard" anywhere around here? |
